Kelly Timberman of Mills, WY spurred like the champ he is and ended up splitting 3rd/4th/ and 5th position cash of $7,200 in last night’s sixth round of bareback riding at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. Good buds Luke Branquinho and Jason Miller had their speed on in the steer wrestling last night. Luke threw down in 3.2 seconds - just a hair (.2 seconds) longer than the arena record. Jason, of Lance Creek WY, was his hazer. Everyone in the arena knew what would follow a 3.2 run and Luke didn’t disappoint:
The steer wrestling competition is tight at the lead with just $30,000 separating the top three big men.
